We’re interested in speaking with business owners whose companies fit the following criteria:

Aptis Investments Shareholders

T/O between £1M & £20M

We are looking for UK operating and registered businesses, with an average annual turnover of between £1M and £20M, during at least three of the last five years.

South of England location

We are interested in purchasing businesses located in the South of England, with a specific priority for businesses located in the Counties of Surrey, Hampshire, Berkshire, Oxfordshire, Wiltshire, Sussex & Dorset.

Profit history

A track record of audited profits for at least three of the last five years. In exceptional circumstances, we may consider purchasing distressed businesses, where recent profitability has been impacted by events, such as the COVID-19 pandemic and energy crisis etc.

Ownership & control

Maximum of three UK resident shareholders, with unencumbered control and sale of the business.  We are also open to acquiring subsidiaries of publicly held companies, where the parent company wishes to divest.

Stable workforce

Experienced and stable workforce committed to remaining and developing the business.  We will appoint an interim or permanent team, to resolve succession or skills gap issues, for outgoing owner/operator shareholders.

Committed exit

The outgoing shareholders must be vested in an exit strategy that protects the goodwill of the business, employees, and customers. This may involve a managed exit process aligned to a combination of up-front and deferred consideration models, such as staged payments or earn out structures.
